The Superyacht Gathering is the brainchild of two passionate yachting industry women, with the inaugural edition hosted in Auckland, New Zealand. An evolution of the previous, successful Yacht Vision conference, and with smatterings of long gone NZ Day’s in Palma, The Superyacht Gathering is a fresh take on industry events that is designed to inspire, ignite and engage in an authentic and relevant way.

THE TEAM

LINDA BERRY - MANAGING DIRECTOR - CO-FOUNDER

Spearheading The Superyacht Gathering, Linda Berry has had a long career in the yachting industry and in the 20 years since she arrived in New Zealand has built an undeniable wealth of knowledge about the yachting industry and its people.

With a diverse range of experience, from running her own boutique marketing agency to many years as Marketing Manager at Alloy Yachts, organising superyacht regattas and symposiums, creating stunning print material, and more, Linda’s broad experience has given her the knowledge needed to make The Superyacht Gathering a memorable and stand out event. Passionate about sustainability (Linda’s arsenal includes several rescue dogs, bees, some goats and a pig named Wilma), this vision for a better world and seas will translate to The Superyacht Gathering which aims to be the industry’s lowest impact event.

ELLIE BRADE - PR & COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR - CO-FOUNDER

Having begun her career as a journalist at The Superyacht Report, Ellie has spent more than a decade living and breathing the world of superyachts and telling the stories of those within it. Since relocating to New Zealand in 2011 she continues to work as a freelance journalist, and has worked on the PR and Communications strategies of a number of the Asia-Pacific’s leading brands including Doyle Sails and Yachting Developments.

Ellie is passionate about communicating all that the yachting sector has to offer, and is looking forward to using The Superyacht Gathering as a means to showcase New Zealand and the South Pacific to the world.
